Ponce City Market
This downtown mixed development required a new stair between the 7th and 8th floor.
We saw-cut and removed the concrete from the 8th floor to the loading dock area, after which we installed several structural steel beams in order to reinforce the existing structure in accordance with the engineer's requirements.
Suntrust Plaza, Atlanta
A law firm moving into the 36th and 37th floor of this office tower wanted to create a new stair between the two levels.
We saw cut and reinforced this new opening in structural concrete slab.
A design flaw in the original construction created stresses on the existing railing around the podium slab.
We cut out sections of the existing topping slab, installed expansion joints and re-poured the topping slab. In addition some modifications were made to the existing steel railing, requiring in-field welding and steel fabrication. The existing gutter system around the podium was re-waterproofed, using a liquid applied material.
Church of the Apostles
This landmark church along I-75 has two existing pre-cast parking decks, requiring immediate and maintenance repairs.
We performed crack repair, epoxy injection, spall repairs, steel connection plate refinishing, spandrel panel repairs, corbel repairs, expansion joints and re-caulking/sealing.
550 Pharr Road
This existing office tower needed maintenance repairs to the exterior.
We re-caulked joints, installed epoxy bolts for new light poles, installed a new expansion joint and performed several other maintenance items.
The water treatment building on this industrial plant needed concrete repairs. The existing concrete beams, supporting equipment had far progressed deterioration.
We chipped out all deteriorated concrete, re-formed and re-poured the existing beams, then applied carbon fiber reinforcing to the beam, avoiding future deterioration. After all work was complete, we applied sealant coating to all repair work.
