Heavy Equipment Required a Carbon Fiber SolutionA national commercial server provider opened a new 18,000 sf location in Atlanta. The electrical needs required many heavy electrical components, which greatly increased the load on the floors. To support the new floor loads, Reliant Building Solutions was brought in to engineer, supply and install Carbon Fiber.Carbon Fiber StrengtheningReliant Building Solutions began by taking the structural design and working with a carbon fiber manufacturer to design the necessary carbon fiber to achieve the required strengthening. We then bonded multiple layers of carbon fiber fabric to 9 concrete beams and 26 areas of overhead concrete floor slab.
