Reliant Building Solutions just completed a small, yet difficult job. We were tasked with framing an opening for a retail establishment, which will feature a stone counter. Our steel will support that counter. The challenge was maneuvering a galvanized steel plate that is 20 feet long and weighs 1,400 pounds into the space and into position. Lots of care, lots of hands, and one forklift got the job done. The pictures show the plate ready for transportation to the site and the same plate in its final location. (already in use as a counter, as you can see by the soda can and other items our guys placed on it)
